The underside of the figurine is painted with matte acrylic paint to keep your display surface wax free. For extra measure, the figurine comes with a fabric remnant that you can use as a ‘doily’ to protect your display surface.
The "artist's hand" is evident in all of my work- imperfections, drips, wonky bits, etc.
