Give Love Nook, Encaustic Mixed Media Wall MAKING

If I was a ceramicist…man- these nooks were a huge challenge for a newbie to encaustic painting. I definitely wasn’t thinking about fire + melting wax + curves + sides…phew! Big learning curve. Thankful for the lessons, and I’m thrilled with the art.
Encaustic Mixed Media on cardboard & plaster base.
Approx. 8 x 6 x 2 inches
Information about the nature and care of encaustic paintings will be included.
The wire hanger can be gently manipulated to balance for hanging on a nail, and, if necessary, bumpers are added to keep the wall free from any wax remnants on the underside of the painting.
The "artist's hand" is evident in all of my work- imperfections, drips, wonky bits, etc.
Signed on front. Title, signature, date on back.
