The Strong Woman Mixed Media Painting and Folk Art Rug HOOKING
This is one of my favorite projects ever. The base is an upcycled charcuterie board.
Details:
Acrylic & Mixed media painting + Rug hooked heart
Approx. 11 ¾ x 6 ¾ inches
The underside of the hooking is the most vulnerable. So the back of the heart is finished with cotton cloth and tagged with my signature. The heart is attached to the painting with a hinge that can be gently manipulated to reveal the message inside.
Ready to hang.
The painting will be sealed with cold wax medium. Care instructions will be included for the hooked heart and the painting.
The "artist's hand" is evident in all of my work- imperfections, uneven loops, wonky shapes, etc.
Please note that colors will/may vary in person. I do my best to represent the actual colors, but my photography and photo editing skills have their limits.
